 Chlorantoin ® is a chloroactive, multicomponent, multifunctional disinfectant with a washing effect (TU U 22902465.004-95). Approved and recommended for use by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
FORM OF ISSUE AND PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:
The drug is a free-flowing powder of light colors with a moderate chlorine odor.
Solubility in water - not less than 20 g / dm3. Aqueous solutions of CHLORANTOIN ® are transparent, colorless (moderate opalescence is allowed), and have a weak chlorine odor. Working solutions of the agent have detergent and disinfectant properties, eliminate unpleasant odors (including the smell of mold); do not damage objects made of metal, wood, cement, ceramics, cermets, faience, tiles, glass, rubber, rubber, latex, polymer and combined materials, porcelain; surfaces of medical devices and equipment with paint and varnish, galvanic, polymer and combined coatings; emulsify fats, remove well-fatty film from treated surfaces, residues of blood and drugs from external surfaces, internal channels and voids of medical devices, homogenize phlegm and other secretions, are easily washed off with water, leaving no plaque on the treated surfaces.
CHLORANTOIN ® is not compatible with cationic surfactants and mono- and polyhydric alcohols. Non-flammable and explosion-proof.
Stable when stored in sealed manufacturer's packaging for 3 years.
SPECTRUM OF ANTIMICROBIAL ACTION:
CHLORANTOIN ® possesses high antimicrobial activity against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria (including pathogens of tuberculosis), viruses (poliomyelitis, rota- and coronavirus infections, enteral and parenteral hepatitis, HIV, all types of influenza, parainfluenza, SARS, adenoviruses, and other pathogens of ARVI etc.), fungi and spores (causative agents of candidiasis and dermatophytosis, anthrax, molds) and especially dangerous infections (cholera, plague).
In terms of disinfecting activity, CHLORANTOIN ® is 5-10 times superior to conventional disinfectants and excludes the use of alkaline detergents. The use of CHLORANTOIN ® allows you to combine the stages of washing, disinfection and pre-sterilization cleaning in one operation, to reduce the duration of sanitization.
PURPOSE OF THE TOOL:
- • for current and final disinfection in healthcare institutions, in foci of intestinal and droplet infections of bacterial, viral, fungal and spore etiology;
- for high-level disinfection of medical devices (including flexible and rigid endoscopes);
- for pre-sterilization cleaning and combining the processes of disinfection and pre-sterilization cleaning of medical devices made of corrosion-resistant metal, glass, rubber and polymer materials;
- for disinfection of secretions, food debris, flushing water, group B medical waste and group B waste contaminated with tuberculosis pathogens before their disposal;
- for sanitization (washing and disinfection) of technological equipment, pipelines, inventory, containers, surfaces of industrial premises and other objects at the enterprises of the pharmaceutical, microbiological, perfumery and cosmetic, food and processing industries and objects of veterinary and sanitary supervision;
- for simultaneous washing and disinfection of linen and overalls;
- for prophylactic disinfection (routine and general cleaning) in healthcare institutions, at pharmaceutical, microbiological, perfumery and cosmetic, food industries, pharmacies (pharmacy warehouses, pharmacies, pharmacies, pharmacy kiosks), in preschool institutions, in educational - educational institutions of different levels of accreditation, in health establishments (rest homes, sanatoriums, dispensaries, etc.), in recreation and entertainment establishments, in communal facilities (hotels, campings, hostels, swimming pools, saunas, baths, public toilets) , at utility and household facilities (hairdressing salons, beauty salons, manicure, pedicure, beauty parlors, laundries, dry cleaners, etc.), at catering and trade establishments, on rolling stock and facilities providing railway, automobile, water, air transport and communication institutions, banking institutions and other facilities.
The working solution of CHLORANTOIN ® is prepared in a container from any material, except for galvanized iron, by dissolving in water with stirring for 1-2 minutes.
